The Steve Plain GGUK Enduro Team was at Round 2 of the Eddy Extreme British Championship at Tong near Leeds.

Tom Sagar had a good start on the new 2012 EC300 and was holding a solid 4th place behind Jonny Walker until half way thorough the race when Tom was forced to pull out with lingering flu symptoms. Toms apologized for his DNF but explained that to continue to push at these kind of events without feeling 100% is dangerous and he knew that if he continued a big crash was going to happen..

Danny McCanney had a great result finishing 7th. Danny openly admits he hates extreme races and can’t wait for the BEC, Sprint and EWC to start. This was an encouraging result for Danny after his bad result at round 1 at Buxton.

Jack Lee, who is proving to be ‘the backbone’ of the GGUK Enduro Team ‘won’ the Expert Class and finished 11th overall. Jack is committed to Enduros this year and his efforts will be rewarded.
