Nambotin and Puy win the fourth test at the Enduro World Championship held in Poland.
The two GAS GAS riders Cristophe Nambotin and Ludivine Puy got the first place in their respective categories at the fourth test of this Enduro World Championship, which took place in Kwidzyn, Poland, last weekend.
Ludivine Puy became the absolute winner in the female category when she ended up first in both Saturday and Sunday tests. Her fellow rider, Blandine Dufrene, gave an excellent performance as well, and she got second place in the first test. The next day, Dufrene got third place, right after the riders Puy and Kolman.
The French rider Nambotin became the major figure in the Enduro 3 category this weekend. On Saturday he was forced to pull out due to a problem in his rear wheel right when he was about to get the second position; but he got first place on Sunday and he stayed 57 points ahead of Albergoni and more than 60 ahead of his biggest rival, David Knight.
With regard to the other GAS GAS riders, Jordi Figueras got the 11th and 12th respectively in the Enduro 2 category. The winner of both tests in this category was Miki Ahola.
The results in the Junior category weren’t so good for the GAS GAS riders, except for the third place Robert Kvarnström got on Saturday. Yannick Bossi had to withdraw on Saturday due to some pain in his right leg. A couple of hours and tests later, it was confirmed the French rider suffers from torn knee ligaments in his right knee.
Arnau Solá was not able to finish the test due to a fall, and he did not get the medical permission to take part in the test the next day since he had suffered numerous injuries after the accident.
