BIKER GOES HOPPING MAD AT GOODWOOD
Twelve-time World Trials Bike Champion and Goodwood legend Dougie Lampkin to return to the Festival of Speed
· ‘Episode 2’ video of Lampkin’s return to Goodwood released today
In anticipation of the welcome return of British trials bike legend Dougie Lampkin to the Festival of Speed from 2-4 July, Goodwood has filmed an ‘Episode 2’ video for viral distribution of Lampkin running amok around the 12,500 acre Goodwood Estate in West Sussex.
Dougie Lampkin made a memorable impact on the Festival of Speed in 2008 when he first visited the annual celebration of motor sport. His initial visit two years ago was captured on an entertaining video, with Lampkin riding through Goodwood House, riding within inches of priceless antiques and artworks on his trials motorcycle. This first episode of the ‘Dougie Lampkin vs. Goodwood’ video has now been viewed by millions around the world.
Two years on, Lampkin has returned to Goodwood to showcase his considerable talents in a second episode expansion of the original 2008 viral. In the latest video, 12-time World Trails Champion Lampkin searches of fellow British World motor sport champions, Formula One aces Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton.
Lampkin’s search takes him across the Goodwood Estate, ranging from the House, The Kennels Goodwood sporting members club, golf course, and the famous race course, Hotel, Health Club and Spa, Motor Circuit and Aerodrome, in his quest to find the two most recent F1 World Champion drivers. Look out for some other familiar faces too.
The latest Dougie Lampkin vs. Goodwood video is now available to view and/or download from the Goodwood website, and You Tube. You are welcome to upload this video to your own website as well.
