After a break of almost 2 months, the RideoffroadUK organisation get their 2012 events schedule underway on January 22^nd, at a brand new venue, Kirton Lindsey near Scunthorpe in Lincolnshire.

After looking at the venue almost 3 years ago, Wayne Braybrook has been persistent with the land owners, realising the potential of the quarry based site for use as a top Hare & Hounds track. The course will have a little bit of everything in it, woodland trails, Quarry tracks, combined with climbs and descents in and over old spoil heaps left behind from many years of quarrying.

Sunday morning kicks off early with a youth race for 90 minutes, this will be followed by one adult race for all classes starting at 11am for 2.5 hours. All riders are welcome, day licence available with discounted rates for pre paid on line entries before Jan 15^th.

Remember the Doodson IOPD 2012 championship starts only two weeks after this event, so get those boots dusted off and get back into training.

Camping is available from Saturday 21^st at 1pm and no sooner. This is due to the movement of quarry vehicle until that time. See club website for directions and final schedule.
