FINAL INSTRUCTIONS RIDERS & SPECTATORS.
These Final instructions are to be read and understood in conjunction with the WOR EVENTS code of conduct and sporting code.
DIRECTIONS TO EVENT The event will be arrowed from A483 near Oswestry. SAT NAV : SY10 9HJ
PARKING / CAMPING Please park where directed by staff. Camping is allowed ON SATURDAY 14th for Riders only…..However you must be in the quarry for 5pm on the SATURDAY to camp.
The rider will be allowed 2 people FOC in their vehicle. Any other persons in the riders vehicle will be charged £15 per person. Friends & Family will have to purchase a ticket and park in the spectator car park.
MACHINE EXAMINATION It is the rider’s responsibility to produce a well maintained and safe machine for use in this event.
TYRES ANY FRONT OR REAR MX OR ENDURO TYRE. STRICTLY NO TRIALS TYRES.
SIGNING ON: Signing on will take place on arrival at the riders parking area on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. (Rider entrance Gates open 7.30am). Bikes will be checked on the Start line. PLEASE NOTE ALL RIDERS TO BE IN THE RIDERS PARKING AREA FOR 9AM ON THE 15th JANUARY..IF YOU ARE NOT IN BY THAT TIME YOU WILL NOT GET IN. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!
RACE NUMBERS Will be provided on pre made backgrounds and Rider Bibs and presented at signing on. All Riders must wear the provided bib and put the numbers on their machines. Exclusion for rider if not adhered to.
EVENT INFORMATION
The Clubman/Over 40 riders will start the TOUGH ONE EXTREME support race @11.00am and compete for 2HRS (running to bikes). The winning Clubman and Veteran rider will win a set of Trailtech helmet lights and a pass into the main event. (Riders choice to compete in main event or not!)
The main TOUGH ONE EXTREME ENDURO (2.5hrs) will start at 15.00hrs and will see Pro’s start first and the Experts second. Both Classes will run to their bikes from the Quarry. All Pro and Expert riders must have helmet lights and or good lights on the bike. The last hour will be in the dark.
Refuelling is to be carried out by the rider only and no mechanics or helpers can assist in the service area. Exclusion for rider if this rule is broken.
Riders can receive assistance on the course from spectators or helpers anywhere apart from the red flagged “No help” Zones. Exclusion for rider if this rule is broken.
Riders that do not want to tackle a section or miss a section out will be defined as DNF on the results.Race officials with radio contact will relay the failed riders’ numbers to the scoring team.
