Alex Salvini (Husqvarna)

STRONG PERFORMANCE FOR SALVINI AT THE GENOA SUPER ENDURO

Team CH Racing took part in the first round of the Super Enduro championship with Alex Salvini and Ricky Dietrich, the American rider that dominated in indoor enduro racing as well as Worcs in 2009 and 2010. Dietrich is currently testing with CH Racing with a view to participating in the 2012 World Enduro Championship.

With his second place behind Blazuziak in official qualifying, Alex Salvini demostrated from the start that he enjoyed the track layout in Genoa. In the races Salvini was always fast but too many mistakes to really be a contender. In the second heat the Italian on his TE310 had a strong race with a fantastic come-back from seventh to second. In the overall standings Salvini finished sixth, a good start for the former motocross rider in his first indoor enduro race. Dietrich finished 16th after using the race as a training session to get accustomed to the new bike and team.

Genoa ended the racing season for team Husqvarna. Now for some well deserved rest in the winter break and then, as alway, wide open in 2012!
