Grand Prix of Italy 2012

The EWC invites you to Tuscany!!!

Recently, the ABC Communication staff has visited Castiglion Fiorentino in Tuscany, organization of the Grand Prix of Italy 2012 to inspect the site and the organization work.

With Franco GUALDI (representative of the FIM and the FMI), Alain and Bastien BLANCHARD visited the infrastructures of the Tuscany town and of the Moto Club Castiglion Fiorentino. They found that the Moto Club and its president Antonio BARBAGLI were very motivated by the organization of this Grand Prix which will take place in the stronghold of the very regret Fabrizio MEONI to whom a special tribute will also be made during this Grand Prix.

Castiglion Fiorentino, which will welcome the 5th stage of the EWC the 30th of June and the 1st of July 2012, is a splendid small medieval town heritage site of the UNESCO and situate in the Arezzo province to 100kms South of Florence and 150kms North to Roma. Surrounded by olive trees and rocked by the sunshine, Castiglion is well-known to be one location of the famous movie “Life is beautiful” of Roberto BENIGNI. To mark this weekend, Castiglion Fiorentino will mix history of the town with an international sport event, favor to a paddock situate in the center. The track will be very technical with in particular a very visual Cross Test situates on the foot of the town.

The Moto Club Castiglion Fiorentino will use this event to gather a big part of the motorbike world in memory of Fabrizio MEONI and to create a big celebration around the Enduro.

Keep in mind your weekend of the 30th of June and 1st of July where the Grand Prix of Italy 2012 is already announce like a great sport event organized in a small paradise spot.
