MIKA AHOLA and Pol Tarres sign for JTG (Jotagas, S.L.)

Miki Arpa, Sports R & D Manager for JTG enduro, has chosen the Finnish rider Mika Ahola for the next two seasons 2012 & 2013 (world championship, national Spanish and certain races in both countries, Italy and France).

Mika, who will begin as a factory JTG rider from January 1st 2012, will participate with the new MK 300 2T JTG and will be directly supported by the whole structure of JTG, factory and Racing department.
Note that the commitment is reciprocal, five times world champion Mika Ahola, has chosen to trust the new MK 300 2-stroke with electronic valve system that will be presented in December this year. The MK has been subjected to all kind of tests by Miki and his team over the last months before the firm started its transition into the production plant in Alcañiz with the MK enduro and the JT trial. ...

"Who would have known ten years ago when Mika and Miki were teammates and factory riders for the Italian team that for 2012 we would create a great team together with serious aspirations to become world champions. It is true that Mika has been world champion 5 years in a row and that all the results far from winning could add too much pressure, but I totally trust him, as well as the people in my team and the new brand JTG. I know we'll be up there and that my experience will help Mika, like his will help us to have a competitive MK at 100% from the beginning. Once again, JTG is positively moving forwards. The bikes first made their debut at the Milan show when Jordi Tarrés, sports and R & D manager for JTG trial, confirmed Pol Tarres as the official factory trials rider. Now it is Miki's turn to unveil one of the greatest enduro riders of all time, Who will work on this daring project.

There is no doubt with theses choices, Mika Ahola & Pol Tarrés, Jotagas has shown clearly what the profile of the company is as well as its ambition in sports. Choosing those two riders, the present and the future, not only noted for their qualities and skills when riding motorcycles and their respective past and present records but also for their human qualities, two riders on whom JTG will count on to keep developing technically the two motorcycles, the MK and JT.
