Special Design in Limited Numbers: Touratech Tank Bag „Blue Edition“

Perfectly matching the BMW F 800 GS “Trophy” edition and the 2012 model of the          R 1200 GS in blue, Touratech has launched colour-matching tank bags in a limited special edition. The tank bag “Blue Edition” is available for both the BMW F 800 GS / F 650 GS (Twin) and the R 1200 GS and has been specially customized for the particular motorcycle.

Both models come with two additional side bags to provide enough room for storing a wallet or documents. A reflective elastic cord fastened at the back can be used to fix several objects, e.g. riding gloves during a stop. Water-protected zippers are applied to the main compartment and the two side pockets. The map pocket is securely fixed to the tank bag’s top by a Velcro fastener. The inside of the lid contains a compartment for documents with a separate credit card pocket and elastic loops for small objects like a ball pen or similar items. A strong carrying handle and two straps for converting the tank bag into a rucksack are also included. Both models are made of Teflon-coated Cordura, they are water protected and dirt-resistant and are produced in Germany by KAHEDO, like all the other Touratech tank bags.

The “Blue Edition“ tank bag for the BMW F 800 GS / F 650 GS (Twin) has a standard capacity of 14 litres and can be easily and quickly expanded to 20 litres by using the all around zip. Fitting the tank bag is quickly done using the two buckles at the front and a Velcro fastener at the back. Secure fastening is thus ensured. In addition, the tank bag can be fixed with two side straps when riding off-road or with heavy load.

The “Blue Edition” tank bag for the BMW R 1200 GS / ADV can be fixed with two hooks at the front and a Velcro fastener at the back. Also in this model, secure fastening and a quick removal - e.g. at the filling station - are guaranteed. Its standard volume of approx. 16 litres can be expanded to approx. 22 litres, also with the aid of an all around zip.
