Marc Guasch, new rider for enduro and rally races

The spaniard participate in the next Cross-Country Rallys World Championship 2012.

Marc Guasch and Gas Gas have signed an agreement to incorporate this experienced spaniard rider at the brand's racing team. The role of Guasch (La Garriga, 1973) is become a test rider for future Enduro models and also to develop the new project in Cross-Country Rallys. In addition, this agreement confirms the company's intention to strengthen its structure in all off-road specialties and demonstrates the aim of entering the world of rallying from next season.

At a sporting level, Guasch will focus in the upcoming Cross-Country Rallys World Championship 2012 in order to evolve the new Gas Gas bike for this modality, in addition to team up with Laia Sanz in the rally races in which she will participate.

Marc has extensive experience dating back to 1991 when was the winner at the Enduro Junior Spanish Championship. After a break, in 2001 won the Enduro Catalan Championship and in 2005 was runner-up in 450 cc at the Spanish rallys, plus third overall in National Motorally. A year later he was Rally champion in Spain and runner-up in 2007 in Rallys Off-Road. Already in 2008 won the Burn Rally Cup and in 2009 debuted in Dakar as best private rookie. That same year he won the Baja Aragon in 450 cc and in 2010 won the absolute triumph in this mythical spanish race.
